First episode of the Bread and Roses podcast
The Barricade takes off with another podcast series! This time we focus on the state of the labor movement, its challenges, problems and most important successes today. We will bring union activists, leaders and journalists on this program to speak about the current and historical struggles of their organizations, as well as their ideas for further development and strengthening of the movement.
The blog Bread and Roses started on an optimistic note! The first guest was the Norwegian trade unionist and researcher Espen Løken. He is one of the promoters of the Arthur Svensson International Prize for Trade Union Rights. Who can be awarded this year and why?
Watch the entire conversation on our YouTube channel and don’t forget to subscribe to and like the video. This will help us make our analysis more popular, and more people will have the chance to get familiar with the political, social and economic problems in Eastern Europe.
The Barricade is an independent platform, which is supported financially by its readers. Become one of them! If you have enjoyed reading this article, support The Barricade’s existence! We need you! See how you can help – here!
