“On the barricades” — s03e14
The 2021 “Yearbook” of transform!Europe examines capitalism’s impact on the global ecosystem and the accompanying economic crisis, as well as the effects on logistics and borders, the structure of work, healthcare systems, European integration, geopolitical power relations, and gender relations — but also the breaches in neoliberal hegemony.
Boyan Stanislavski of The Barricade speaks with one of this year’s edition’s editors, Haris Golemis, a long-time Greek leftist activist and author.
“Transform Europe” is a network of 39 European organizations from 23 countries that work in the fields of political education and critical scientific analysis. It is the recognized political foundation corresponding to the European Left Party (EL).
This collaborative project of independent non-profit organizations, institutes, foundations, and individuals aims to use its work to promote peace among peoples and the transformation of the current world.
Since 2019, the Barricade has been actively supported by “Transform Europe” and regularly collaborates with this organization.
