Progressive politics and conservative working class: how to be matched?

The Barricade organised on 13 December 2020 a tough debate on the issue how to address the problems of a predominantly conservative working class without compromising our progressive ideals.
Jacobin’s Ben Burgis was the Barricade’s special guest. He is a professor at Georgia State University, a columnist for Jacobin magazine, host of the podcast “Give them an argument”, and most importantly, he is one of those leftists who are prepared to confront problems no matter how hard to tackle they might be.
The invitation was open to a number of protagonists and readers in the domain of labour unions, civic activism, etc.
